Reaffirming its commitment to creating a space dedicated to intensive training in the field of dance, SUMMER LABreturns through a partnership between Play False | cultural association and Teatro Viriato.

​

Over the course of five days in Viseu, three groups of participants engage in an immersive experience of practice and learning, exploring disciplines such as Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance, Repertoire, Choreographic Lab and Improvisation, under the guidance of nationally and internationally renowned teachers and choreographers.

​

The intensity of this format allows each participant to develop interpretative and technical skills, expanding their artistic knowledge and vocabulary. In this way, the programme aims to create a meeting ground for the discovery and experimentation of different choreographic languages, pedagogical practices and aesthetic references, where each body broadens its horizons, challenges habits and stimulates new ways of relating to movement.

Through this programme, Play False establishes a partnership with Teatro Viriato, affirming a shared commitment to artistic development, the exchange of knowledge and the strengthening of the dance community, recognising the laboratory as an essential space for creation and contemporary choreographic thinking.

Target Audience
Group A: ages 16–20 (dance students)
Group B: 18+ (dance professionals)
Group C: 18+ (non-professionals with dance experience)
