ECO Project - Emerging in Creation and Orientation
The ECO Project – Emerging in Creation and Orientation is an initiative by Play False Associação Cultural aimed at supporting young emerging choreographers in developing their first works or consolidating their artistic intentions. This program seeks to enhance research and innovation in dance by promoting the development of new artistic languages and methodologies. It provides access to rehearsal space as well as comprehensive guidance and support across various aspects of artistic production.
OPEN CALL
Applications for the selection of projects for the Artistic Residency program are open until February 22nd. Throughout 2025, there will be the opportunity to host two Artistic Residencies, each aimed at providing young choreographers with time, space and support for the development of their creations. During the artistic residency, the young choreographer will receive artistic guidance from São Castro, artistic director of Play False and an award-winning choreographer and dancer in the field of contemporary dance. Additionally, the program includes training in areas complementary to artistic creation, specifically focused on performance circulation. This edition features training in Production and Communication, delivered by specialized instructors: Andreia Carneiro and Marisa Miranda.
